Surrender and Reclaim

WE ACCEPT DEBT AND CREDIT CARDS ONLY (NO CASH OR CHECKS)

WHAT YOU NEED PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT

Information:
  • Driver's license or Valid ID
  • Proof of residency in Jackson County
  • Reclaims (Previous pictures, records from vet, and/or adoption records)
  • Surrenders (Vet records if applicable)

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS WITH AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR FOR SURRENDER

Surrenders

Fees
  • $45 per dog
  • $25 per cat

Surrender Information

Upon arrival at the shelter, please leave your pet in your vehicle for their safety and ours until a staff member can assist you
  • Sign in at the front desk
  • Complete surrender paperwork
  • Surrenders will be handled in the order of arrival times

Reclaim 

Fees
  • $25 Initial Reclaim Fee
  • $25 Per Dog Per Day (Additional fee After Reclaim Fee)
  • $15 Per Cat Per Day (Additional fee After Reclaim Fee)
