Mission

Provide primary prevention through a combination of surveillance, education, enforcement, and assessment programs designed to identify and abate the environmental conditions that adversely impact human health. Monitor and ensure compliance with the various Local and State Environmental Health programs including: Food Service, Land Use (On-Site Sewage), Tourist Accommodations, Public Swimming Pools/Spas, Rabies and Tattoo Facilities.

Inspector's office hours are generally from 8:30 am - 10:00 am . It is best to call our office at 706-367-3643 or email us if you need to meet with an inspector.

Our office is generally open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are closed periodically for holidays and staff training. Please call 706-367-3643 before visiting our office to ensure we are open. You may email our office at anytime.
