Building Inspections

The mission of Building Inspections is to provide for the administration and enforcement of construction codes and ordinances adopted by the County and municipalities

The Clerk of Superior Court handles state, superior, civil and criminal records, juvenile court, adoptions, and military discharges.

Code Compliance

The mission of Code Enforcement is to protect and maintain public health, safety, and enhance property value by enforcing adopted codes and ordinances on behalf of the Jackson County Boards of Commissioners.

Correctional Institute

The Jackson County Correctional Institution exists primarily to assist local departments and agencies in meeting their needs for a workforce by providing that workforce at a significant savings using inmate labor.

County Manager

The mission of the office of the County Manager is to work with elected and appointed officials, in concert with the citizens of Jackson County to insure effective delivery of services.
