The Planning Division is committed in servicing the community by providing an orderly procedure for the planning, zoning, and the development processes that are efficient and sensitive to community needs. The team of professionals and trained staff continuously strive to improve the effectiveness of the department through improved technology, citizen input, and self evaluation.
Close coordination is maintained with all divisions within the department and agencies within Jackson County and the region.
Online Portal for Submittal
Submit an application for anything related to development, planning, or zoning through Jackson County's Citizen Self Service portal.
Please remember that your username is not your email address. Also, CSS has shown to function better in Google Chrome. Lastly, the applicant/owner is responsible for submitting to outside agencies.
