A Pre-Warrant Hearing is the hearing that precedes issuance of a warrant which has been applied for by a private citizen.  If you have applied for a criminal warrant (see Criminal Warrants above) this hearing will be your opportunity to present any and all evidence you have to support your allegation that a crime has been committed.    It is the applicants burden to prove that a crime was committed in Jackson County, with criminal intent, during the statute of limitations, by a probable cause standard.

Pre-Warrant Hearings are held every two weeks at the Jackson County Courthouse.
