Tips for Applying

• Visit the Job Opportunities page to view all available job postings with Jackson County.
• Applications and resumes are accepted for open positions only.
• Print an application and complete it in full. Be sure to list the position you are applying for. Because background checks are conducted, a fully completed application may help prevent employment delays in the event that you are offered a job.
• List professional references not previously mentioned in the "Employment Experience" section of the application.
• Read and sign the applicant certification on the last page of the application.
• Applicants will not be contacted for an interview until after the job posting deadline.
• Applications are screened for minimum qualifications and experience. However, meeting the minimum qualifications is not a guarantee of an interview.
• Due to the volume of applications received, not all applicants will be contacted.
• Job offers are contingent upon satisfactory post-offer drug screening results and a background check. Employment offers may be withdrawn if unsatisfactory results are received.
