A lot of our non LIDAR/elevation data is available to download for free at the Jackson County Georgia Open Data portal. You will find a lot of our common datasets such as parcels, road centerlines, and addresses here. Most of the data is generally updated most Friday mornings.
Purchasing Data Instructions
If you wish to purchase data you will need to go through the following steps:
Notify the GIS Manager by email that you wish to purchase data and what data you want. If you are wanting lidar tiles consult the tile index map (PDF). Also include in this email the company name and address. If you are an individual then include your home address.
The GIS Manager will email you back a completed data exchange agreement which will also serve as your invoice and receipt as well as instructions on how you can pay online or by other means.
You will need to pay online with the instructions provided for the quickest delivery of data or you can mail back to the GIS Manager a check or money order and completed data exchange agreement: Joel Logan - GIS Manager 67 Athens Street Jefferson, GA 30549
We send you the data VIA several different electronic means through the internet, usually WeTransfer.
